About the ILCA Dinghy
Recent ILCA Dinghy News
We name a fleet champion each season. Here's how to qualify:
Competitors must sail in four out of the seven scheduled events.
Competitors must sail in at least one SSA Club Series event and one Invitational event.
Competitors may only use one Frostbite Series score. Note: Competitors will only receive a score for a Frostbite Series if they sail in at least half of the races in that series. Race Committee duty is considered a race day for qualification purposes.

TESODs at SSA
ILCA Dinghy dominate SSA's informal "TESOD" (Tuesday Evening Sailing One Designs) from May to September. If you like racing, don’t want to both scrambling to find a crew, and want to sail with a great bunch of competitors on the most popular and widely sailed one-design sailboat, then ILCA Dinghy Fleet 10 at SSA is the place to be.
SSA also hosts major regattas for the ILCA Dinghy Class such as the Atlantic Coast Championships and the District 11 Championships. The club's central location allows fleet members great access to events up and down the East Coast. We often have 15 to 20 sailors attending major regattas and masters' events. Our members range in age from the teens to over 70. What other class can boast that? The ILCA Dinghy is a boat you can sail for life.
