Coach/Safety Boat Chartering

SSA is pleased to offer charters on both Junior Fleet and Race Committee boats to support members and sanctioned fleet activities if you meet the following conditions. Please have your Fleet Captain complete and submit this form.

Please note that this program is designed to encourage sanctioned fleet development and the rules and classifications must be followed completely. At no time should a paid coach be using SSA resources without following the ‘Paid Coaching Option’ process.

Will you be using a paid coach to support your request?

Volunteer support incurs $35/day boat usage fee. Paid Coach support incurs fee based on amount paid to coach(total fee +35%).

1. I understand that this request is pending approval, boat availability and receipt of payment 2. Driver will complete certification program to drive boat, if required 3. I understand that all participants will be required to register for the event posted on the SSA Calendar 4. The boat will be clean and put back in the same location after use 5. I will notify the Office (madde@severnsailing.org) of any issues with boat or gear

I understand that all participants will be required to register for the event posted on the SSA Calendar 5. Coach will be paid through the SSA payroll system with a 35% fee added to the agreed upon coaching fee 6. Organizing member will be responsible for the total amount
