SSA Sailors at the Orange Bowl: Well Done!

The 2021 Orange Bowl International Youth Sailing Regatta was held for sailors 18 years of age or younger on December 28-30 in Miami, FL.

Out of 195 Optis, our Ashton Perkins finished 30th with two race results of a 3rd and 4th!  (And in Blue Fleet [87 sailors] , finished 13th)

Robby Meek won the ILCA 6 with 37 points (30 points ahead of the 2nd place finisher), placing 42nd was Alex Adams, 61st, was Nathan Jensen, and 78th was Brooke Bogdan. There were 92 ICLA 6’s!

In the ICLA 7, Jack Grace finished 6th out of 22 boats with a pair of firsts, Charlie Anderson finished 8th and Xavier Shattuck finished 17th.

73 420’s were racing for the event. Jack Powers and Helena English 41st, Parker Herman and Jed Lory 40th, Ava Farley and William Harding 48th.
