TESOD Weekly Racing Reports - July 22, 2008

TESOD was the place to be to beat the heat.

The course was set up perfectly for viewing the windward mark from the clubhouse and challenging for the sailors as the starting line showed a lefty while the Spa Creek righty was silently awaiting at the mark. The Laser fleet (12) was light this week, but the double handed boats made up for the loss (62 sailors!). The NA Mids provided 2 Laser and 3 V15 great competitors. The V15 fleet won for participation with Lorie Schubert and Jamie Smith (with Matt & Narragansett spectating) showing it's not over till it's over after the start. New SSA member, Meredith Dodd and Fuller Moore gave the Mids and Gavin O'Hare a run for the Laser races. We lost count of races, but probably sailed 6 races with 2-3 divisions into the sunset.
