TESOD Weekly Racing Reports - July 14, 2009

July 14 -- ANOTHER PERFECT NIGHT!!

We have been blessed with fantastic summer weather. But, keep knocking on wood to avoid the summer duldrums. I can't even count how many times I heard "what a another beautiful night" as the evening went on. The evening started out with oscillating puffs from 12-15 knots. Then settled in to about 8 knots to the relief for all those on the edge of Laser radial sails. The Laser fleet sailed 6 races and the double-sail boats sailed 5 plus one windward and inward as the sun and breeze went down.

The Burman Family - Leah, Ian and Trey ran the RC boat with Ashley Love on the video camcorder. Hopefully, she got some good footage that we can enjoy one evening. Doug Palmer and Nan were on mark/safety and Nan even got a few V15 races in with solo Stan Smith.
