Welcome to SSA's 2009 Junior Sailing Season
SSA
has a long history of excellent summer sailing programs. This summer,
we continue this tradition and offered one of the best sailing programs
in the country. We teach classes to Junior sailors ages 6- 18 in
all levels of sailing instruction from beginner sailor to advanced
racer.
The
Program Director and the Junior Program Board have been working
hard to ensure that SSA provides a fun and rewarding experience
for all
young
sailors
whether they are first time students, a returning “veteran”,
or an experienced racer looking to compete at the highest levels.
In 2006, over 400 kids and teens participated in one or more sessions
at SSA. On any given day during the summer sessions, roughly 140
sailors were participating in one of the numerous programs available.
SSA junior sailors participated in events throughout the United States
from New England to Florida to California, and even Canada.
