7 p.m. Session With NOAA National Weather Service Marine Forecaster
DINNER REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED BUT YOU'RE MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME FOR THE DISCUSSION!
Come hear from National Weather Service meteorologist Bryan Jackson about how NOAA develops marine weather forecasts and how you can best access and use this great info to sail well and stay safe on the water. Bryan is also interested in hearing from sailors about how we get forecasts both before and during sailing and any feedback. And of course we always enjoy swapping weather and sailing stories!
On the food and fun front, we'll kick the evening off with dinner and a cash bar at 6 p.m. At 6:45 p.m., we'll transform the clubroom from tables and chairs to simply chairs for Bryan's presentation, which will start at 7 p.m.; that program will run for about an hour. Beverages will be available until about 7:30 p.m.
Menu: Pasta fun! Salad, one cheesy pasta and one plain pasta, which you can top with grilled chicken and/or meatballs. Brownies for dessert.
PLEASE REGISTER BY WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22, SO WE CAN BE SURE TO HAVE ENOUGH FOOD AND BEVERAGE ON HAND!
